Latest James Bond film to be shot in India
The latest James Bond film, with the working title Bond 23, starring Daniel Craig, will be shot in different locales in India.
The Union I & B ministry has permitted the shooting at different locations : Streets of Daryaganj, Sarojini Nagar market and Ansari Road in Delhi, the beaches of North Goa and the Navagam area in Ahmedabad.
The producers have applied to the India Railways for permission to shoot in the tunnel at Dudhsagar and on the Zuari rail bridge in Goa.
Bond 23 marks the 50th anniversary of the successful Bond franchise, the first being Dr No which starred Sean Connery as the first Bond. Later, the spy role has been played by Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. The iconic James Bond has been created by author Ian Fleming.
