LaBeouf sends words of encouragement to Douglas
Los Angeles, Sep 17 : Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf has sent his words of encouragement to veteran actor Michael Douglas who has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
“Michael is the epitome of strength. I mean, he’s stoic, and I don’t think he would want any kind of sympathy call or check-up at all,” said LaBeouf, who stars alongside Douglas in new film “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”.
In an interview to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said: “In fact, I think he’s the exact opposite. I just think cancer picked the wrong guy when he picked Michael. Michael, he’s going to be fine.”
A host of other celebrities have also shared their belief that the 65-year-old actor will recover, including Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Matt Damon and Bill Murray.
