Kavya’s Dairy is a suspense thriller and a drama of vengeance where the antagonist meticulously seeks eliminate the people who are targeted.
Pooja (Manjula) is married to Raj (Indrajith), a scientist and this is one happy family with two kids. It so happens that under typical circumstances Kavya (Charmi) saves one of the children of Pooja and Raj, who in turn appoint her as the governess to their children.
Abhi (Shashank), brother of Raj, arrives on a holiday, and promptly falls in love with Kavya, who does not respond favourably.
Suddenly, disasters strike in quick succession. Abhi is killed in a road accident and Nikita (Archana), a family friend of Raj, is found murdered. This spate of deaths disturbs the family of Raj and Pooja.
Kavya;s Dairy Telugu Movie ReviewThis being a suspense thriller, the rest of the story deals with who is behind these killings and why such a disaster has been unleashed on the family.
Charmi gives a good performance with apt expressions and this all the way her film. Manjula and Indrajith give convincing performances. Shashank and others are quite adequate.
The story has many contrived situations and the screenplay is not gripping enough to sustain a suspense thriller. The narration sometimes drips and drags hampered by song and dance sequences. The title of the movie itself betrays the core theme of the movie.
Cinematography, editing and audiography are good.
This suspense thriller moulded around a plot of vengeance and the film’s slick production values would appeal to multiplex audience.
