Karishma Kapoor is making a comeback in Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt’s film titled Dangerous Ishq. The notable feature of this film is that the actress plays five different roles spanning five different times. The time span starts from the ancient spiritual times to the present day covering the times of the Moghul and British rule of India and even the freedom struggle.
Presently, she is undergoing training in martial arts and sword fighting. She is said to be keen to make a blast with her comeback film.
She made her debut in 1991 with Prema Qaidi and she was away from the screen from 2003. She got her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Raja Hindustani. She won another Filmfare Award and a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Dil To Pagal Hai (1997). She also won Best Actress and Best Actress (Critics) trophy for Fiza (2000) and Zubeidaa (2001).
