Randeep Hooda, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Jism 2 with adult star Sunny Leone, has now made his debut as a writer with a play which is an Indian adaptation of Lee Blessing’s A Walk In The Woods. The play has been co-written by Randeep along with Faisal Rashid.
Hooda, who has Bachelors degree in Marketing and a Masters degree in Business Management and Human Resource Management in Melbourne, Australia, made his film debut in Monsoon Wedding (2001), where he has played an NRI. He got the role in the film primarily because of his Australian accent.
In spite of a prominent performance in Monsoon Wedding, Hooda had to wait for four years to get a second project. Ram Gopal Varma cast him as lead in the gritty gangster flick D (2005). Later on he won recognition for his performances in films like Risk, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Jannat 2.
