Jail is Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film

Jail is Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film Production house Percept Picture Company (PPC) and director Madhur Bhandarkar have brought out successful films like Page 3, Corporate and Traffic Signal. Madhur has won the National Award for the Best Film Director for Traffic Signal.

Now, PPC announced its next film titled Jail, which will naturally be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, with Neil Nitin Mukesh as the lead protagonist.

Jail is a true to life story of an ordinary man, played by Neil Mukesh, who finds himself inside a prison because of a series of unfortunate events. The film is narrated from his point of view and tells the stories of several other inmates of the prison and the jail authorities.

The shooting of the film starts in October 2008. Jail is scheduled for a May 1, 2009 release.
