Its My Love Story Movie Review
Its My Love Story, touted as a unique love story, tells the age-old theme of young fellows falling in love and parents objecting to their romantic relationship materializing in a marriage alliance.
Vandana ( Nikitha Narayan), who wants to make it big in the world of fashion design, goes to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam and stays in a PG hostel. She sends SMS to a wrong number by mistake and that recipient is Arjun (Aravind Krishna) who is involved in video game development. Arjun finds about Vandana through Facebook. Because of certain problems at the hostel, Vandana has no alternative but to move in into Arjun’s flat. This staying together is an opportunity for them to fall in love.
The parents of Vandana ( Sarath Babu and Jayasudha) come to know about the live-in arrangement of their daughter and take her away and get her married to an NRI.
The rest of the story deals with how the lovers again unite by overcoming the hurdles of the elders.
New comer Aravind Krishna has the looks but requires further grooming. Debutant Nikitha Narayan has the talent and will do her good if she hones it fine. Sarath Babu and Jayasudha are their usual selves delivering what is required of them. Thagumothu Ramesh and Vennela Kishore give a few laughs. All others go through their motions.
The premise of the story is weak and the erratic screenplay makes the narration a little listless. The dialogues are ordinary. Music is good. The vibrant cinematography is the most noticeable aspect of the film. Technically, the film does not come up to adequate standards.
The film is an average fare and the director Madhura Sridhar , who made his debut with Sneha Geetam, disappoints dishing out a slow paced nonsensical love story.
