Hyderabad Police register cheating case against Prakash Raj Under the direction of Hyderabad City Criminal Court, the Punjagutta Police registered a case of cheating against Prakash Raj under sections 420 and 402 of IPC.

This action is the result of a case filed in the court by Producer Prasad. He alleged that he contracted the actor to act in his film and paid the remuneration demanded by him. Half-way through the shooting of the film, the actor further demanded an increase in his fees, which was also complied with.

In spite of this, Prakash Raj allegedly did not report for shooting, im spite of giving dates. The producer claimed that his film is not completed because of the actor’s unauthorized absence and that he suffered huge monetary loss. He also said that his attempts at reconciliation and adjudication with the actor through the Producers Council and MAA were futile and hence, the recourse to the courts of law.

Recently, the Telugu film producers’ council imposed a ban on Prakash Raj for his erratic schedules and based on complaints by the council’s members.
