Hollywood’s “Lightning Strikes” to hit Tollywood
After getting the reputation of churning out the maximum number of films in India every year, Tollywood is now getting ready to welcome new technology to make Telugu films more qualitative.
Since lighting is very important for cinematography, a new system equipment called “Lightning Strikes” developed by David Prngle of Los Angeles, USA, has been brought to Hyderabad by Arya, D Bhaskar Rao, M Ravishankar, Neerav Shah and Shanmugam under the auspices of The Light House and Bharani Minerals India.
“Lightning Strikes” helps to create visual effects at the click of a switch and is already being used in the filming of Shankar’s Rajinikanth starrer “Robo” and Mani Ratnam’s “Raavana” starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Vikram.
Cameraman Neerav Shah of “Dhoom 2” fame and David Prngle gave a demo of “Lightning Strikes” in Hyderabad and the who-is-who of Tollywood were in attendance to watch it.
