Here’s why Censor Rejected Sunny’s Maastizaade for Even an A (Adults) Category Release
Sunny Leone upcoming sex comedy film Mastizaade was made to be completely erotic with the actress having a lot of bold and provocative scenes in the movie. The movie was caught in certification issues with the censor board, and we hear that after a prolonged debate and many appeals, the board has even refused to give it the broadest A (Adults) category as it found the scenes from the film too hot for Indian adult’s altogether. The makers are again appealing against the decision.
Maastizaade stars Sunny Leone in a double role, and also has Tusshar Kapoor, and stand-up comedy king Vir Das, apart from a guest appearance by Riteish Deshmukh. It’s being directed by Milap Zaveri and is being produced by Pritish Nandy.
Just for an example, Sunny’s roles have the character names as Lilly Lele and Laila Lele. Tusshar’s character is called Sunny Kele (Whatever!), and Vir Das would be called Aditya Choo*i** (Got it right?). Going by this simple example, it’s not a surprise that the censor board frowned on this movie. Poor Sunny seems to have an ongoing bad time since the past months!
