Harry Potter star bags 3 million pounds contract
British actor Emma Watson, who shot to fame and wealth with the portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, has bagged a major brand promotion contract with a French house.
Watson, 18, will replace fellow Briton and Oscar-nominee actress Keira Knightely to become the new face of Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle.
Picked up to play the role of book-smart friend of Harry Potter in the first Potter movie at the age of nine, Watson has reportedly signed a two-year contract with the French house worth 3 million UK pounds.
Among Britain’s top 100 young millionaires, Watson is listed as being worth 10 million UK pounds.
