Gayatri Patel’s “Let’s Dance” ready for release
Dancer-turned-actress Gayatri Patel is is awaiting the release of her debutt film “Let’s Dance” which is directed by Aarif Sheikh, a National Award-winner for the film “Samay…When Time Strike”.
Gayatri came into limelight when choreographer Saroj Khan praised her dancing skills. A born dancer, she excels in jazz, hip-hop, Bollywood dance, Kathak and is also a professional at yoga, which helps her attempt the most daring dance steps, breathtaking whirls and swirls and even splits.
At the tender age of seven, Gayatri signed up for a local Indian dance competition in Alabama in the US and won the top prize that year.
While in the US, Gayatri graduated from high school and went to university in Atlanta, Georgia. Here, she won the Miss India-Georgia title and later emerged the first runner-up at Miss India USA pageant.
“Let’s Dance” features Ajay Chaudhary and Aqib Afzaal and the film is produced by Dr Arvind Patel. Gayatri plays the role of a dance teacher.
