The film “Tum Mile” starring Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan is all set to release this week and the untimely Mumbai rains that is causing floods in the city, is being considered as “prophetic” by producer Mukesh Bhatt.
It has been raining for two days consecutively in Mumbai and there’s also the danger of a cyclone. And Mukesh Bhatt can’t help but think this is “divine intervention” and is excited about the release of “Tum Mile”, which is set in the backdrop of the Mumbai floods in July, 2005. The film recreates the dreadful state when the entire city was under siege due to the floods.
Incidentally, this is not the first time that Vishesh Films has enjoyed such a timely intervention. Close to the release dates of films like Gangster, Nazar and Kalyug, incidents similar to the plots of these film occurred in real life too.
Right before the release of Nazar, the whole bar girl controversy was in the limelight, after which bar dancers were banned in Mumbai.
