Farhan Akhtar, who acted and co-produced the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) which was directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar, has decided to help the victims of 13/7 Mumbai blasts by donating a portion of the film’s collections.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani along with Kishore Lulla of Eros International have decided that the collections of the Thursday evening show from selected theaters will be distributed amongst the blast victims. The selected theaters include, PVR in Mulund, Goregaon and Juhu, Fun Cinemas in Andheri, Chembur, Kandivali, Vashi and Kalyan, Cinemax in Sion, and Inox in Nariman Point.
The film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Katrina Kaif is doing well at the box office, both in India and abroad, and is said to be making profits. The producers therefore decided to donate a part of the profits to the Mumbai blasts victims.
