The film

Ek Vivaah.. Aisa Bhi is a typical Rajshri Productions trademark film with a persuasive emotional drama.

sister. As life would have it, Chandni falls in love with a rich Prem (Sonu Sood) who also responds and they decide to marry. However at the time of her engagement, Chandni’s father dies.
Then Chandini decides not to marry until her brother and sister grow up. The rest of the story deals with her travails and whether Prem would wait for her.

The Performance

Easha Koppikaar gives a surprisingly good performance. Sonu Sood looks sauve and elegant in his role. Veteran Alok Nath is his usual competent self. All other actors do justice to the roles played by them.

The Techniques

The story and dialogues are very well written and with a good screenplay the narration is very appealing and interesting. Music is just about average. Cinematography is ravishing. Editing and audiography are good.

The Verdict

This is a very emotional family drama dealing with various degrees of human relationships. This film is not for the usual multiplex crowd. Ek Vivaah.. Aisa Bhi is a clean family entertainer.

The Rating

3 out of 5
