Cinematographer turned director Teja shot into lime light with his debut film “Chitram” and churned out hit films like “Nuvvu Nenu” and “Jayam”. Later his magic touch seems to have vanished as his recent films sank without trace at the box office.
Teja now announced that he is turning into a full-fledged producer and will produce 50 films in 5 years under the banner of Jayam Movies Private Limited. The film making will follow the corporate style.
The first film titled “Alivelu Manga”, a woman oriented movie, will be directed by Kodi Ramakrishna which will feature two top heroines. This film goes on floors in the last week of this month.
Rasool and Anand Ranga will direct the next two films and three more Tamil directors will make their debut. Teja says that seven films, including “Alivelu Manga” will be launched in the next three months.
