Director Mani Shankar’s film Mukhbiir starring Sameer Dattani was scheduled for release in July 11, but did not hit the screens because of a financial dispute. Even the premiere of the film was held in Delhi on July 9.
First, monetary disputes cropped up between director Mani Shankar and Pritish Nandy Communications. The dispute got resolved and the film was slated for july 11 release. Then, Mani Shankar dragged the producer of the film, Sudhish Rambotla, to court on money matters. The dispute was resolved in an out of the court settlement.
With all hurdles cleared, Pyramid Saimira, the all-India distributor of Mukhbiir, is planning to release the film on August 29.
