Director Dibakar Banerjee, who earlier made films like “Khosla Ka Ghosla” and “Oye Lucky Lucky Oye”, is now coming out with a political thriller titled “Love, Sex Aur Dhokha”.
This film, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, is a digital real life film shot from hand cameras, spy cameras, underwater cameras, voyeuristic surveillance cameras and looks very real, very unsettling and very provocative.
Dibakar says the film is based on the theme: “Sex is not about sex anymore.
Today, sex is a medium to an end, instead of being a way to express love or something done for pleasure. It’s a way of getting back, for revenge, for fame, for ambition – it is about things that you get out of sex. Sex has become a practical tool for us. That is what the film is about, how we have made a business out of our emotions.”
