Autonagar Surya starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha is finally released on Friday after seeing many ups and downs for almost a year. The movie is getting a mix response from the critics as well as the audiences. But one of its dialogue has become the latest talk over subject in town. This dialogue aimed at people of Vijayawada does not seem to please them.
There is a dialogue of Naga Chaitanya in the film written by the director Deva Katta himself, taking on comedian Raghu Karamanchi, which means, “ You’re (people of Vijayawada) so fast. You change your stances, loyalties so quickly.” The people of Vijayawada are furious over this dialogue written by Kadapa born director Deva Katta. This dialogue is not so relevant to the movie and it seems that it is deliberately added by the movie team so as to gain publicity.
This is slowing catching fire in Vijayawada. Expressing his disagreement an audience commented, “ It is said that regional aspect is being used/ highlighted often in our films in wrong way. The dialogue has belittled Vijayawada people and shown them in poor light. It is highly unfortunate that even intellectual film makers are looking after controversies in order to gain post-release publicity. These kind of instances spoil the healthy atmosphere among people, industry.
