David Dhawan’s Chashm-e-Buddoor Is Mischievous

In this era of remakes in Bollywood, David Dhawan is remaking the 1981 cult film Chashme Buddoor which was made by Sai Paranjpye and it was about bonding of three friends played by Farooque Shaikh, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani.

In the remake, the three friends are reprised by siddharth, Ali Zafar and Divyendu Sharma. But director Dhawan has given a new tagline to his remake; which is — Kyunki har ek friend kameena hota hai!

Though the remake is a celebration of friendship, it is a tale of peer supremacy, selfishness, taking advantage of friendship and of course, being together to pull somebody else’s leg.

This Chashm-e-Buddoor remake will have Dhawan’s style of humour through the mischievous deeds of the three friends and their maliciousness was unintentional.
