Daniels Book On Aamir Khan : I’ll Do It My Way
Communications specialist and journalist Christina Daniels authored a book titled I’ll Do It My Way which is a biography of Aamir Khan in the film Industry.
Though Aamir Khan himself was not interviewed, Daniels talks to the actor’s family members and other film fraternity to get some unknown facts about Aamir’s film career.
Aamir’s father producer Tahir Hussain never wanted him to get into the film industry as it is very unpredictable. His debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak directed by Aamir’s brother Mansoor Khan had a tragic ending. Some friends of producer Nasir Hussain, Aamir’s uncle, suggested a happy ending and the climax was reshot with Aamir and Juhi getting married. The film with both the endings was lying in the cans for a long time and finally the version with the tragic end was released and the rest, as they say, is history.
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak is loosely based on the short story No Combacks written by Frederick Forsyth (1982).
