CM Unveils Special Edition Of ‘India Today’ On Balakrishna
There are several prominent persons in the society in different fields. Books should come on such people and such special editions would inspire the future generations, says Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, while inaugurating a special edition of ‘India Today’ on popular actor, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, at State Secretariat in Hyderabad recently. After unveiling the edition, he gave the first copy to Balakrishna and says, ‘Instead of studying at various places about a particular person, it would be nice to read a book, in which everything was compiled. The prestigious ‘India Today’ organisation worked so hard and brought out the edition on Balakrishna with high standards. It came out very well and came at a right time. It would be useful for the future generations as a reference book.’
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna expressed his happiness over the special edition of ‘India Today’ on his life history. The prestigious organisation had recognised his services to the film industry, politics and service activities to bring out an edition on him. ‘It seems, the journalists have worked hard for about five to six months to collect the interviews, rare photographs and brought out the edition in a beautiful manner. The book had touched all the angles in my life and has a valuable information. Definitely the special issue would attract not only my fans but also everyone.’ In this connection, Balakrishna advised the editorial board of ‘India Today’ to bring out many more such special issues on various personalities of different sectors and thanked the organisation for their gesture.
Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna specially complimented Dr Surendra, A Rammohan Rao, Kommineni Venkateswara Rao, Pradeep, L Venugopal, Dr Rentala Jayadeva, Saideswara Rao, Shiva Mallala, Srinivasa Babu of ‘India Today’ marketing division and others on the occasion. Balakrishna felicitated Eswar, who had painted Balakrishna’s portrait exclusively for the special issue. Eswar, who came from Chennai, presented the specially designed paintings to Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna. Both of them complimented Eswar as a publicity designer.
