Mega Power star Ram Charan Teja has the guts to cancel a film even if its shooting is fifty percent complete. In the past he cancelled ‘Maerupu’ when it was half completed. It was directed by ‘Bangaram’ fame director. After that he did the same with Koratala Siva’s film which was halted after the Muhurat shot. When asked about the reason behind this, Charan said, “we have rushed filming of those flicks even without setting up concrete story. Koratala Siva’s movie didn’t even have a solid story when we laid foundation stone. Producer Bandla Ganesh pressurized us to start film, but I felt like disjoint story and screenplay will hamper the total output and hence cancelled it.”
He was also asked by media about his future movie plans, to which Charan replied, “I’ve heard three stories from Boyapati Seenu but nothing really evinced me any interest. Sreenu Vytla is yet to narrate a new story.”
He also gave a hint that he might work in a bilingual film which will be directed by renowned director Gowtham Menon. He added that he is not free for now to work in Bollywood films.
