While on the one hand, his father Nagarjuna bagging hits like ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, Naga Chaitanya is struggling to stay on the Telugu screen. But for the hit like ‘Manam’, Chaitu had no place in the Tollywood, with no hits to his credit as a solo hero in recent times. Now, he is committed to bag a hit on his own, Chaitu is playing the lead role in the remake of a Malayalam movie. Right from the title which goes like ‘Premam’ with a tagline ‘Love stories end, feelings don’t’, Chaitu’s beard and performance appears to be a total mimic of the original. This was proved with the first look of the movie which was released recently. Even the film makers made use of the same kind of floral design in their posters appears to be very close to the original Malayalam movie. With the sentiments ruling the roost in Tollywood, the film makers might be thinking in a sentimental way in following the same styles. The hero in the original Malayalam movie, Nivin Pauly also sported the same kind of beard and Chaitanya is mimicking even Nivin’s body language. May be it is a remake, there is no need to attach any sentiments to it and there is no need to remain a carbon copy of the original. Isn’t it?
