Censor Board to meet Tollywood producers
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will hold a meeting in November with the representatives of the Telugu film industry to sort out certain irritants to make film certification a smooth process.
The CBFC had introduced online submission of applications for film censorship all over the country in its regional offices so that the process of film certification is speeded up.
The CBFC wants to discuss with the Telugu film makers about certain undesirable practices being carried out by some producers who are adding censored clips to the film after censor certificate is obtained.
Tollywood producers want uniform standards all over the country in certification for the U, U/A and A categories.
