Bollywood stole the limelight at the 39th IFFI with screenings of all the mainstream Hindi movies seeing packed houses in the last four days. The festival concludes on December 2.
India’s entry to the Oscars in the foreign film category Taare Zameen Par topped the charts with many delegates preferring to watch Aamir Khan’s directorial debut film. Similarly, Jodhaa Akbar, Hum Apke Hai Kaun were also popular among the delegates.
The film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, starring Abhay Deol was premiered late last night to a packed auditorium. The film releases on November 28.
