Bhandarkar to direct Tagore Hindi remake

National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is likely to direct the Hindi remake of Chiranjeevi’s Telugu film Tagore directed by VV Vinayak, which itself was a remake of A R Murugadoss’ Tamil film Ramana.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has bought the Hindi remake rights of Tagore and he has persuaded Madhur Bhandarkar to direct it. The cast and crew are being assembled and the shooting is likely to start after Madhur completes the Kareena Kapoor starrer Heroine.

Bhansali is already remaking Ravi Teja’s Telugu film Vikramarkudu in Hindi titled Rowdy Rathore with akshay kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
