Troubles started surrounding senior producer Bellamkonda Suresh. His headache was started with the launching of his son Bellamkonda Srinivas as the hero. Popular director VV Vinayak took the responsibility. Keeping in mind that his son is turning a hero with the film, Suresh had spent lavishly for the movie without a sane thinking about the returns. He incurred almost Rs 12 crore loss with that movie. In fact, Suresh had a debt burden of over Rs 40 crore by the time he started producing the movie. Most of his films have failed at the Box Office, but for the only film Kanchana, which had earned decent profits. Thinking that his son has become popular in the film industry and he has thousands of fans across the state, Suresh indirectly funded the second film of his son, keeping Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao as the benami producer. Officially, Bhimaneni is the producer, but the funds have come from Suresh only. That film was also proved a big disaster. While earning good profits as the producer, Suresh had invested his money in several real estate ventures. However, all the real estate ventures were also proved to be loss with the division of the state and real estate business had come to a naught. So, all those properties failed to come to his rescue. In this backdrop, Kotak Mahindra Bank, which had lent money as loan to Suresh had served several notices. As Suresh failed to reply any of those notices, the bank had moved the court and seized the posh office of Bellamkonda Suresh in Film Nagar demanding clearance of their loan. In addition to it, all the financiers had started queuing up before his doorstep demanding clearance of their loans immediately.
