Actress Meera Chopra who acted with Pawan Kalyan in the film “Bangaram” is quitting films to pursue a career in hospitality industry.
Meera started her career in the southern films and acted in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages. Her debut film was “Anbe Aruyire” in Tamil in 2006. She acted opposite actors like Arjun, Simbu and Prashanth. She had been compared to Simran in looks. Since she is not getting any more offers in the film Industry, she decided to quit. However, she will be seen in a small role in Namitha’s “Jagan Mohini” which will release soon.
Meera Chopra completed her Bachelors’ degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan and worked in an advertising firm in New York. She also worked for NDTV in New Delhi before making her plunge into films.
