Balayya Aims For Oscars Through ‘Gouthami Putra Shatakarni’
Dr Abdul Kalam, our former President of India, used to tell the students to ‘Dream big’ as those dreams leads to thoughts and then they turn into action one day. Hope Nandamuri Balakrishna might have been following his words and is aiming sky to reach. Generally, an actor of Telugu origin, aims at Nandi awards or going a step award wants to bag a Filmfare award because it is one of the prestigious awards down south. If not, he may aspire to bag a national-level award. Beyond that our Telugu artistes or technicians never think of for some reason or the other. However, it is Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is aspiring to bag an Oscar Award at international level with his upcoming 100th film of his career, ‘Gauthami Putra Shatakarni’ directed by Krishh Jagarlamudi of ‘Gamyam’-fame and who recently brought out a blockbuster like ‘Kanche’. During the first birthday of his grandson Devansh, Balakrishna arranged a big party along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. On the occasion, Balakrishna told the invitees that he is aspiring for an Oscar award for his next film. It is indeed a big dream and let us pray that his dream will come true and thereby our Telugu film industry too can feel proud of a real heir of his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a legend of the Tollywood.
