“Avatar” celebrates 100 days in India

James Cameron’s “Avatar” is celebrating 100 days of screening in India. The film has been released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, and English versions.

According film trade circles, “Avatar” is the highest grossing Hollywood film in India. This film has grossed over Rs 105 Cr (!.95 billion) so far and still counting. The 3D version collection are estimated at about 40% of the gross.

The English versio collected Rs 50 cr, Hindi Rs 27 cr, the tamil and Telugu versions grossed Rs 28 cr.
