AR Rahman to sing for International Day of Peace

Double-Oscar award winning Indian maestro AR Rahman will compose and sing a special multi-lingual song to commemorate the United Nations’ International Day of Peace that falls on Sep 21.

For this Peace concert, Rahman will be associated with the ‘Rolling Stones’ singer Mick Jagger, Nas and Joss Stone, along with reggae legend Bob Marley’s sons Damian and Stephen, and the U2 frontman Bono.

In addition to a live concert on September 21, a special album of this peace music will be released on that day by the UN Secretary-General.

This album will be recorded in Los Angeles.
