Double Oscar winning music maestro refused to be drawn into political controversy when asked about his reaction to Congress party purchasing the rights of the Slumdog Millionaire song for use in the Party’s election campaign.
Rahman politely replied that the song Jai Ho belonged to everyone. He said he had no plans to shift to USA to score for only Hollywood films. He said he had been busy at present completing the assignments on hand.
Rahman is due to conduct the Jai Ho A R Rahman Live Concert in Kozhikode, Kerala on May 3.
