Oscar winner AR Rahman and Rolling Stone legend Mick Jagger who collaborated for the band SuperHeavy, will release their second single Satyameva Jayathe, where Jagger had sung in Sanskrit. The first single from them Miracle Worker was already released and received popular appreciation.
Dave Stewart, Joss Stone and Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley have been part of the album. The single Satyameva Jayathe is being released world-wide today. This song will be premiering exclusively on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM today across 22 cities in India.
Rolling Stone front man Mick Jagger said he was happy to sing the song along with AR Rahman as he had lots of respect for Indian culture and music. Rahman said the single is a tribute to the concept of truth as envisaged by the saints and seers of India.
The SuperHeavy band will also release a few more singles on which Rahman is already working.
