Allu Aravind is known for his business acumen. Take the example of Ghajini. He took the remake rights of Murugudos Tamil film but decided not to remake it in Telugu. He released the dubbed version in Telugu which turned out to be a big grosser.
Later, Aravind was successful in signing Aamir Khan for the Hindi version and as is his wont, Aamir took the project as if it was his own. He put on an 8-pack abs make-over for the film and promoted it like no other film in the history of Indian cinema.
With a novel theme, Ghajini grossed around Rs 200 crore in the initial collections itself and the film is still going strong. According to film trade pundits, the producer Allu Aravind could easily make a profit of around Rs 60 crore in the end including other rights. +
