It looks like Bollywood is hooked to remaking Tollywood films. After Rowdy Rathore joined the 100-crore-club, akshay kumar is said to be keen on remaking Chiranjeevi-Sonali Bendre starrer Indra (2002). According to sources, Akshay is in talks to buy the remake rights.
The Hindi remake of Indra will be produced by Akshay in association with a major production house. Most probably it will be Prabhu Dheva again who will direct this remake. The Hindi version will have some changes in the script to make it contemporary and bring in North nativity.
After Ghajini, Pokiri, Ready and Vikramarkudu, the other Telugu films that are being remade in Hindi include Kick with Salman Khan and Maryada Ramanna which is being remade as Son Of Sardar by Ajay Devgan.
