Akshay Kumar’s Joker Is A Children’s Film!

Editor-turned-director and producer Shirish Kunder says that his forthcoming film Joker, starring akshay kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, is a children’s film. But, the adults also will enjoy this drama, where alien-like creatures are created in a village called Paglapur to get recognition for the village, which is somehow does not find a place on the map of the country, and thus denied basic amenities by the government.

This is Kunder’s second directorial venture after Jaan-E-Mann in 2006. Joker, according to him, has a duration of just 105 minutes, which makes it crisp and the narration interesting.

Most Hollywood films, including Spider Man and Transformers, have only 90 minutes duration, and the new age multiplex audience in India are also getting used to 90 minutes films rather than the usual 2 hours and 30 minutes duration of regular Hindi films. Films like Delhi Belly had only 90 minutes running time while The Girl With Yellow Boots was 100 minutes.

Joker is releasing on August 31.
