Ajay Devgn To Meet Sikh Gurus Over SOS
Ajay Devgan has acted and produced the film Son of Sardaar (SOS). After the trailer of the film was released, Sikh advocates and students raised objections that certain scenes and dialogues hurt the Sikh religious sentiment.
Ajay Devgn, accompanied by Sanjay Dutt is proceeding to Amritsar to meet SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) officials, Sikh lawyers and members of All India Sikh Student Federation (AISSF).
The actor-producer is organising a special show of the film to the Sikh community elders to clear the air on speculation that the film might show the Sikhs in a demeaning manner.
Ajay says that at no point anybody will find any element of disrespect for the Sikhs as the protagonist of the film is a Sardar, so the film will showcase a very positive projection of the community. He hopes that a screening of the film will clear all doubts.
The film is directed by Ashwani Dhir and stars Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla.
