AISSF Says Ajay Devgn’s SOS Hurts Sikh Feelings

All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) president Karnail Singh, in a letter to Akal Takht chief Gurbachan Singh, has urged the clergy to take action against actor-producer Ajay Devgan for showing Sikhs in a bad light in the film  Son of Sardaar and thus hurting the religious sentiments of Sikhs.

Karnail Singh said the film had blasphemous remarks against Sikhs and has sought registration of a police case against the filmmakers. He says that the film’s trailer has demeaning dialogues. He further adds that in the film, the lead actor, Ajay Devgn, wears a Sikh turban but has the tattoo of a Hindu god on his chest which is against Sikh principles.

AISSF had sent a legal notice to the filmmakers and asked to delete the objectionable scenes.

Son Of Sardar, a remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, is scheduled for release on November 13.
