Vivek Agnihotri, who recently directed the erotic thriller Hate Story, is now making Buddha in a Traffic Jam which deals with the vexed Naxal problem and unfolds through nine chapters.
The filmmaker who earlier made Chocolate, says that Buddha in a Traffic Jam is a cerebral film which makes the viewer ponder over the issues raised in the film. Anupam Kher plays a professor in the film which also stars Arunoday Singh and Mahi Gill. The film is in post-production and will release in October.
Agnihotri is also planning to make a political thriller titled Freedom which stars R Madhavan in the lead role. The film gives a blow by blow account of modern day India during the last three decades.
