After ‘PK’ it is ‘GopalaGopala’s Turn
Protest against screening of ‘PK’ is going all over the country by the Hindu groups and now they are asking censor board not to pass the upcoming Telugu film ‘Gopala Gopala’. The activists say that this movie also hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus like ‘PK’.
The Central Board of Film Certification is forced by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bhagyanagar Ganesh UtsavSamithi (BGUS) not to clear the film because it contains ‘objectionable’ scenes.
The activists claimed that the scenes from teaser of the film are objectionable and the Hindu gods and goddesses were depicted in an inappropriate manner.
Produced by Suresh Babu, ‘GopalaGopala’ is the Telugu remake of the hit Hindi film ‘Oh My God’. This film features Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh.
BGUS secretary R.Shashidhar said they took action before the movie could get released because once it is released then protest becomes useless. He said, “It has become a habit of some filmmakers to hurt religious sentiments to get some publicity for their movies.”
