Actor Raja complains to HRC on film bigwigs
Actor Raja has approached the Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission and lodged a complaint on top producers and distributors lead by D Suresh Babu, Ramoji Rao, Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and others stating that they control all the theatres in the state and they are not allowing the release of small budget films. He stated that he bought the distribution rights of the film “Inkosaari” for Visakhapatnam and Uttarandhra areas and he could not get any theatre to release the film. He said the monopoly of a few big producers, distributors and exhibitors was the main cause and the unavailability of theatres to release “Inkosaari” in the scheduled date violated his human rights as a film distributor.
Sometime ago, small budget film producers underwent hunger strike demanding availability of theatres for their films.
