Ad film maker Prahlad Kakkar made some uncharitable comments on Abhishek Bachchan while speaking at a discussion forum at the ongoing Mumbai Film Festival. He said that the actor’s name should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for surviving in the industry despite 17 flops. He also accused Bollywood of giving preference to their family members over talent.
An irate Abhishek Bachchan posted on the Twitter: “I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya, Prahlad, I’m already in the Guiness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same somedays”.
