Abhishek Bachchan had been tagged by a string of flop shows even though those films have been directed by top notch directors.
Except for Dhoom 2 (2006), Guru (2007), Sarkar Raj (2008), Dostana (2008) and Paa (2009) all of Abhishek’s films — Pradeep Sarkar’s Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Goldie Behl’s Drona, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi-6, Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, Abhinay Deo’s Game, Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum and Abbas-Mastan’s Players — all the 9 films have tanked at the box office.
Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan, released last week, is declared a hit at the box office and predicted to join the 100-crore-club. Moreover, Junior B’s performance in the film is being appreciated by one and all. Bollywood observers say that Junior B’s luck has turned for the better after the arrival of daughter Aaradhya.
With Dostana 2 and Dhoom 3 being his next films, Abhishek is assured of two more hits.
