Aamir Khan was present at the ‘Youth For Governance’ function and at the occasion he was asked to share his views about such films which succeed even after getting trapped in controversies.
The actor said,
“When people like the film, then it becomes a hit. When we say ‘hit’, we mean people like that film. The only reason behind a hit film is that how good you have made it. And if you have made a bad movie, no matter how well you market that film, it’s not going to do well.” About film making he said, “No matter what you do, you can’t make a bad film work. And no matter what you do, you can’t kill a good film. It works both ways.”
Aamir said that films have now become a target for those people who want cheap publicity. In his words, “It is an unfortunate fact that nowadays, every film seems to have attracted some or the other controversy. There was a case of plagiarism filed against Rajkumar Hirani for ‘PK’. The person filing the case got his name on the front page, which is what he wanted. So, it has now become easy to get publicity.”
He requested the media to go in deep of such stories instead of following them blindly.
