‘Qissa’ Hosted Screening at Whistling Woods Institute

Recently the cast and crew of the film ‘Qissa’ hosted a screening of their film at Whistling Woods International Film Institute. The crew includes Tisca Chopra, Rasika Duggal, Tillotama Shome, director Anup Singh and editor Param Kamdar. At the end of the film, the team also engaged with the students in an interactive session filled with humorous anecdotes.

Tillotama and Rasika recalled how they felt clueless with the uncanny guidelines that baffled them in the beginning.
The director called himself the actual ghost of the film and the source of the title.
Tillotama plays the character of Kanwar Singh, who is a girl but rose as a boy by Umber Singh (Irrfan) because he desires a male child after his wife gives birth to three daughters. But the complications arise when Kanwar is married to Neeli (Rasika).

The film is praised and has been winning laurels and awards on the international film circuit starting with the Toronto International Film Festival, 2013.
