The film “New York”, dealing with an unconventional theme, produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Kabir Khan was released last Friday with 900 prints world-wide.
According to BIG Cinemas, the film collected Rs 35 Crore in the first three days. The news is that people are thronging to multiplexes and single screens to watch the film.
“New York” is about three friends whose lives change post the 9/11 terror attacks on the twin trade towers and stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan in the lead roles.
The film also has also received positive response in the US, Britain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where it was released with 60, 40 and 30 prints respectively.
