‘Simhasanam’ Celebrates Completion Of 30 Years
Super Star Krishna wielded the Mega Phone for the first time for a film titled ‘Simhasanam’. Not only that he played dual roles and produced the movie on his own on the banner of Padmalaya Studios. This is the first ever Telugu 70 mm folk movie which was released on March 21, 1986 and it had completed 30 years. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Hindi languages and Bollywood music director Bappi Lahari scored tunes for the flick and the film was a big musical hit too. On this occasion, All India Krishna-Mahesh Praja Sena president Mohammad Qader Ghori and Super Star Krishna cut a cake and complimented each other. Speaking at the function, Qader Ghori says, ‘The fans of Krishna had to feel proud for the completion of 30 years of the film. The film was a super hit during those days and was made as a bilingual in Telugu and Hindi languages, that too in the debut direction of Krishna. It is quite happy that the film is a musical hit too.’ Mohammad Parva Chishti, Kavalikota Ramesh, Madhu, Ramana and other fans participated in the programme.
