‘Sarrainodu’ Collections Remained Steady Even On Monday

There is a tradition for the Telugu film industry to release films on Friday. There is a reason behind this. Generally a film will get good openings on the release day. If it is a weekend, there will be two holidays on Saturday and Sunday. So, there will be good revenue in these two days too. Now, the question is that if the film also gains good revenue on Monday then the film could be declared as a hit movie. So, the Telugu film industry eagerly wait for the outcome of the movie on Monday. In Film Nagar parlance it is called the Monday test. ‘Sarrainodu’ which was released recently had passed this test successfully. All the theatres where ‘Sarrainodu’ was released had recorded over 90 per cent collections. Allu Arjun and his father and producer Allu Aravind are now quite relieved. In fact, there was a mixed talk over the movie ‘Sarrainodu’ in the beginning and they had kept high hopes on the success of the movie. With the passing of Monday test the entire film unit celebrated the success on Monday night. Speaking at the occasion, director Boyapati said that the common audience has loved the film. Allu Arjun’s mass appeal and high adrenaline mass elements helped the film to be a big hit. Now that we have to wait and watch for how many more days these collections will remain steady.
