‘Pencil’, A Youthful Thriller To Hit Screens On April 14
Popular music director G.V. Prakash, who scored music for several super hit films in Telugu and Tamil languages is now making his debut as hero through ‘Pencil’. Sri Divya, who played heroine in several films like Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu, Bus Stop, Kerintha and Manasaaraa, is pairing up with him. Mani Nagaraj, who worked as an associate for several films like Manmadha, Cheli, Raghavan and Gharshana under popular director Gautham Menon is making his debut as director through the film in Telugu and Tamil languages. A successful film distributor G Hari of Nellore, Guntur and Krishna districts, is turning a producer with this film on the banner of Hari Venkateswara Pictures. The first look of the film was launched through Gautham Menon recently. The film-makers are making efforts to release the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages on April 14. Producer G Hari says, ‘I have distributed several successful films and got inspired after listening to the subject. It is a youthful subject with a thrilling element. We are sure that the film would definitely attract the Telugu audiences in general and the youth in particular. I am confident on the subject and dared to produce the film. Definitely our film would entertain everyone during this summer. We are confident that GV Prakash would prove himself as a good hero and it will be another hit film for Sridivya. Sashank Vennelakanti gave impressive dialogues, while GV Prakash himself scored music for the move. Srimani of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’-fame penned the songs. Presently the post-production works are in progress.
